Located in Sunset Town on the southern coast of Phu Quoc, Symphony of the Sea is a spectacular outdoor show combining water, light, music, and fireworks. With a sea-facing stage, breathtaking visual effects, and emotionally charged music, the performance offers visitors a world-class entertainment experience amidst nature, where the ocean and sky unite in a dazzling symphony.

1. General Introduction

“Symphony of the Sea” is a large-scale multimedia art show organized by Sun Group in Phu Quoc, in collaboration with international companies such as H2O Events, Laservision, and The Saigon Times. The performance combines multiple art forms: jetski and flyboard displays, laser light effects, water-based fireworks, and a soundtrack blending modern music with traditional Vietnamese elements.

Set outdoors with a sea-facing stage, the show delivers a unique experience that merges art and nature — with lights and sounds reflecting on the water under the night sky of Phu Quoc. It is considered one of the premier entertainment offerings in the southern part of the island, elevating the nighttime tourism experience in the region.

  • Showtime: Usually starts around 19:45 – 19:50 daily from the opening season (typically early November).

  • Outdoor sea-facing stage: Harmoniously integrated with nature, especially spectacular at sunset.

2. Highlights

  • Thrilling sports and artistic performances: Professional athletes on jetskis and flyboards perform in LED costumes, soaring up to ~15 meters in the air, synchronized with lighting effects and fireworks.

  • Spectacular fireworks and water effects: A variety of innovative fireworks, including water-shells and water-cakes, are launched from the water, with hundreds of bursts each show.

  • Integration of music and local traditional art: The soundtrack is carefully curated, featuring modern music blended with traditional Vietnamese melodies such as “Mẹ yêu con”, creating a deeply emotional experience for the audience.

  • Prime viewing locations and stands: Visitors can watch from the beach or elevated spots like Sun Bavaria GastroPub, a two-story seaside restaurant with direct views of the show.

  • Ideal timing and peak entertainment season: The show runs daily from sunset to evening, typically starting in early November when Phu Quoc enters its most beautiful season.

  • Immersive nature and art experience: With its outdoor sea-facing stage, lights reflecting on the water, and sunset backdrop, the show offers a unique atmosphere unlike conventional indoor performances.
