To provide passengers with useful information for a smooth journey, Sun PhuQuoc Airways compiles and updates entry requirements for various countries. However, actual regulations may change from time to time. Passengers are advised to carefully check the latest information from the competent authorities of their destination country.

1. Travel Documents

Before departing on a flight from Vietnam, passengers must prepare all required identification documents for international travel in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.

Important: Passengers’ passports and other travel documents required for entry must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry.

2. Visa Requirements

Vietnamese citizens are eligible for visa exemption for stays in Thailand of up to 60 days, provided that they hold a return/onward air ticket and proof of accommodation.

Vietnamese citizens intending to stay in Thailand for more than 60 days are required to obtain a visa in accordance with Thai regulations.

Thailand grants visa exemption to citizens of 93 countries, with a permitted stay of up to 60 days, subject to applicable agreements and arrangements. Please refer to Visa Exemption and Bilateral Agreements for further details.

3. Arrival Card

Foreign passengers entering Thailand are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online at least 3 days prior to arrival.

Passengers may complete the declaration through Thailand’s official electronic arrival card website.

4. Quarantine and Health Requirements

Passengers entering Thailand within 10 days of departing from or transiting through a country/territory at risk of yellow fever transmission are required to present a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.

Passengers are also required to complete the T8 Health Declaration through the electronic declaration system.

Passengers exempt from the yellow fever vaccination requirement include:

• Children under 1 year of age.
• Passengers transiting through Thailand who do not leave the transit area.
• Passengers who have only transited through a country/territory at risk of yellow fever transmission and have not left the aircraft during transit.

5. Currency Regulations

When entering or departing Thailand, passengers are permitted to carry:

• Local currency (Thai Baht – THB): Up to THB 50,000 per person, or THB 100,000 per family holding one passport.
• Foreign currency: There is no limit on the amount of foreign currency that may be carried. However, if the total value of foreign currency carried exceeds USD 20,000 or its equivalent, passengers are required to declare it to the Customs authorities upon entry into or departure from Thailand.
