On March 8, Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA), the airline of Sun Group, officially unveiled Sun Executive Lounge, its first premium airport lounge at Noi Bai International Airport.
The launch marks an important milestone in Sun Group’s strategy to build a comprehensive aviation service ecosystem, aimed at serving premium passengers, business travelers, and guests seeking distinctive travel experiences.
A service space designed to elevate the passenger experience
Sun Executive Lounge is designed as a “starting point of the journey experience,” dedicated to Sun PhuQuoc Airways’ premium passengers as well as selected guests within the Sun Group ecosystem.
Located on Level 2 of the domestic terminal at Noi Bai Airport, the lounge spans more than 170 square meters and accommodates nearly 60 guests. The space embraces the concept of “warm luxury”, combining elegance with a welcoming atmosphere. Its design draws inspiration from Vietnam’s natural beauty and cultural identity, evoking the charm of Phu Quoc - a strategic hub in the airline’s route network.
Golden, brown, and ocean-blue tones blend with natural materials such as wood, stone, and brushed metal to create a relaxing resort-like ambiance. Artistic details including lacquer paintings, traditional motifs, and handcrafted décor serve as cultural touchpoints, allowing passengers to experience Vietnamese identity from the moment they enter the airport.
The lounge features multiple functional areas, including a lounge and dining area, quiet working zone, private meeting rooms for small groups, and a relaxation area equipped with premium massage chairs, along with other facilities designed to support passengers who wish to rest, work, or unwind before their flight.
Culinary experience inspired by the Sun Group ecosystem
A highlight of Sun Executive Lounge is its curated culinary offering, featuring specialties from brands within the Sun Group ecosystem.
Passengers can enjoy authentic German-style sausages served at Sun World Ba Na Hills, produced following internationally recognized HACCP food safety standards.
The lounge also serves craft beer from SunKraft, brewed at the BaNa Brew House atop Ba Na Mountain using traditional Bavarian recipes from Germany.
In the near future, the lounge will introduce a table-served set menu combined with buffet service, with menus updated regularly to offer passengers a diverse and evolving dining experience.
A strategic piece in Sun Group’s aviation ecosystem
The launch of Sun Executive Lounge marks a strategic move by Sun PhuQuoc Airways to proactively control and elevate the quality of its ground services, rather than relying entirely on existing airport lounge systems.
According to airline representatives, operating its own lounge allows Sun PhuQuoc Airways to ensure consistency in passenger experience - from the ground to the sky, in line with the airline’s ambition to deliver high service standards.
The lounge at Noi Bai is also the first step in a broader plan to develop a network of premium lounges at key airports. The next Sun Executive Lounge is expected to open at Phu Quoc International Airport in mid-April, gradually forming a synchronized premium service network.
In parallel, Sun Group is expanding several other components of its aviation ecosystem, including an inflight catering facility in Phu Quoc, a loyalty program, the Sun Holiday travel platform, and aviation workforce training systems.
Together, these initiatives aim to deliver a seamless and comprehensive travel experience for passengers, while bringing Sun PhuQuoc Airways closer to the service standards of leading five-star airlines in the region.
To celebrate the opening, Sun PhuQuoc Airways is introducing promotional offers for passengers experiencing the lounge service. During the first 15 days, passengers purchasing lounge services together with their flight tickets will receive a 20% discount on lounge access.
In addition, passengers purchasing Economy Plus tickets on flights between Hanoi and Phu Quoc will receive complimentary access to Sun Executive Lounge. The promotion will be available at Noi Bai Airport from March 10 to April 10, 2026.
