Tax, fee & surcharge

The base fare is the rate applied by Sun PhuQuoc Airways for transporting passengers from the departure airport to the final destination, excluding taxes, fees, and surcharges. The base fare varies depending on each flight segment.

Passenger Check-in Service Charge for International Flights Departing from Vietnam (Code JC)

- Passengers from 12 years old: USD 8 to USD 25 per passenger (excluding VAT), depending on the airport.

- Children aged 2 to under 12: 50% of the applicable charge stated above.

- Infants under 2 years of age: Exempt.

Passenger Check-in Service Charge for Domestic Flights within Vietnam (Code AX)

Charges by Airport (Including VAT)

- Adult: 

+ Noi Bai, Da Nang, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Cat Bi, Phu Quoc, Van Don: VND 100,000

+ Dong Hoi: VND 80,000

- Infants under 2 years of age: Exempt.

Passenger and Baggage Security Service Charge (Code C4)

For domestic flights within Vietnam:

- Adults (aged 12 and above): VND 18,181 per passenger.

- Children (aged 2 to under 12): VND 9,091 per passenger.

- Infants (under 2 years of age): Exempt.

- The above charges are not subject to value-added tax (VAT).

For international flights departing from Vietnam:

- Adults (aged 12 and above): USD 1.50 to USD 2 per passenger, depending on the ticket issuance date.

- Children (aged 2 to under 12): 50% of the applicable adult charge.

- Infants (under 2 years of age): Exempt.

Value-Added Tax (Code UE)

- For tickets issued/exchanged from October 15, 2025 through December 31, 2026: an 8% VAT rate applies.

- For tickets issued/exchanged on or after January 1, 2027: a 10% VAT rate applies.

Passenger Surcharge (Code YQ) applies to international itineraries. The surcharge amount varies depending on the itinerary, point of ticket issuance, and fare class.

System Administration Surcharge (Code YR) covers the costs of maintaining systems used to manage data related to passengers' itineraries.

Ticket Office Sales Service Surcharge applies only to passengers purchasing tickets at Sun PhuQuoc Airways ticket offices in Vietnam and through the Customer Care Center.

Other country governments may apply certain taxes, fees, and charges depending on the itinerary and ticket class selected by a passenger.
