Taiwan
To provide passengers with useful information for a smooth journey, Sun PhuQuoc Airways compiles and updates entry requirements for various countries. However, actual regulations may change from time to time. Passengers are advised to carefully check the latest information from the competent authorities of their destination country.
1. Travel Documents
Before departing on a flight from Vietnam, passengers must prepare all required identification documents for international travel in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
2. Visa
- Passengers holding Vietnam nationality are required to have a valid visa or e-visa to enter Taiwan.
- Passengers holding Vietnam nationality may be granted a visa to enter Taiwan and allowed to stay for up to 14 days if they meet the following conditions:
- The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Taiwan;
- Must have a round-trip air/ship ticket or a ticket for the next destination;
- Must not have previously worked in Taiwan as a laborer.
- Passengers who meet the following conditions may be considered for visa exemption to enter Taiwan and stay for up to 14 days:
- Currently holding a valid visa or a visa expired within the past 10 years issued by the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, South Korea, or a Schengen member country (including long-term or permanent residence permits);
- Currently holding a visa or residence permit issued by Taiwan within the past 10 years with no legal violations;
- Currently holding a valid e-visa issued by Australia or New Zealand;
- Currently holding a valid visa or a visa expired within the past 10 years issued by Japan, with proof of entry/exit stamps or onward travel to Japan.

- Passengers may apply for an e-visa via the website: https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw/BOCA_EVISA/ and must print the confirmation for travel.
3. Arrival Cards
Passengers are required to complete the Online Arrival Card before entering Taiwan. Registration must be completed within 03 days prior to arrival.

4. Currency
Passengers may carry cash not exceeding TWD 60,000; or CNY 20,000; or USD 10,000, or equivalent in other currencies when entering Taiwan.
If exceeding these limits, passengers must declare the amount to Taiwan Customs.
5. Other Regulations
- Free import for passengers over 20 years old:
- 200 cigarettes or 25 cigars or 1 pound of tobacco;
- One bottle of alcohol (not exceeding 1 liter);
- Non-commercial goods up to TWD 20,000 (TWD 10,000 for passengers under 20) if not frequent visitors.
- Prohibited items:
- Narcotics, gambling items, toy guns;
- Live animals, except cats and dogs;
- Animal products (except dried/processed seafood);
- Plants, fresh plant products, fresh fruits;
- E-cigarettes.
