1. Infant (INF)

An infant is a passenger under 2 years of age (not yet reached their 2nd birthday) as of the departure date of each flight segment on the passenger ticket and will be provided service according to the standard for infants under 2 years for each respective flight segment.

2. Child (CHD)

A child is a passenger from 2 years up to but not including 12 years of age (not yet reached their 12th birthday) as of the departure date of the first flight segment in the itinerary and will be provided service according to the standard for children aged 2 up to 12 years.

1. Sun PhuQuoc Airways accepts infants from 14 days old up to under 2 years of age (not yet reached their 2nd birthday).

2. Infants must travel with an adult and sit on the lap of the accompanying adult; they are not provided a separate seat. If the accompanying adult prefers more convenience, an additional seat next to them can be purchased.

3. Infants are accepted provided they are in normal health. If the infant has health issues or is premature, a health clearance must be obtained before the flight.

1. Each adult may travel with only one infant. If an adult travels with more than one infant, the passenger must book and pay for an accompanying attendant service.

2. Conditions for the accompanying person:

a. Must be 18 years of age or older as of the flight departure date.

b. Must be able to care for the child throughout the flight.

c. Must not be a passenger with special conditions.

d. Must not be traveling at the same time with a passenger with disabilities.

e. If the accompanying person is a pregnant woman:

• Pregnant women must be under 28 weeks and not fall under the category of passengers requiring health clearance before the flight.
• Pregnant women may accompany a maximum of one INF and/or an unlimited number of children aged 6 years and above.

1. For children aged 2 up to under 6 years: Each adult may accompany a maximum of 2 children.

2. For children aged 6 years and above: No limit on the number of children per adult.

3. If a pregnant passenger travels with both an infant and children, the passenger must book and pay for an accompanying attendant service.

4. Conditions for the accompanying person:

a. Must be able to care for children throughout the flight.

b. Must not be a passenger with special conditions.

c. Must not be traveling at the same time with a passenger with disabilities.

d. If the accompanying person is a pregnant woman:

• Pregnant women must be under 32 weeks and not fall under the category of passengers requiring health clearance before the flight.
• Pregnant women may accompany a maximum of one child under 6 years and/or an unlimited number of children aged 6 years and above.

1. For domestic flights within Vietnam: the accompanying person for a child does not have to be the parent/guardian and there is no requirement for a parental/guardian authorization letter.

2. For international flights:

a. For Vietnamese nationality children:

• On international flights to Vietnam, the accompanying person must have valid personal identification documents, but does not have to be the parent/guardian/authorized person;
• On international flights from Vietnam, the accompanying person must be the parent/guardian/authorized person.

b. For foreign nationality or stateless children:

• On international flights to Vietnam, the accompanying person must be the parent/guardian/authorized person.
• On international flights from Vietnam, the accompanying person is not required to be the parent/guardian/authorized person, except where the destination country has different regulations.
