On November 26th, 2025, Sun PhuQuoc Airways officially launched the Sun PhuQuoc Airways app, a complete platform allowing guests to book flight tickets online, manage their services, check themselves in online, receive digital boarding passes, and connect with the bigger Sun Group ecosystem.
The event marks an important step in Sun PhuQuoc Airways’ digital transformation pathway, optimizing guests’ experience from booking to sarriving at Phu Quoc, especially when demand for leisure traveling is on the rise.

The Sun PhuQuoc Airways app was designed with an intuitive and simple interface, allowing users to complete their online booking in a few steps. Prices are updated according to real time, so guests can easily choose the most suitable price point for them. Currently, guests can book for the Hanoi – Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc, and Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City routes.
Furthermore, to accommodate the needs of busy guests, the application provides the option to reserve and finish payment after a maximum of 6 hours. This feature gives guests more time to consider their schedules without losing on best prices. The app also houses multiple secured payment options, including credit cards, VNPay, and VietQR, streamlining the payment process.
Online check-in & Apple Wallet integration
The Sun PhuQuoc Airways mobile brings a modern “touch-free” airport experience, with online check-in up to 24 hours before departure.
A defining difference is the ability to save digital boarding passes to Apple Wallet, a feature that is currently not supported by other domestic booking apps. This lessens the need for paperwork at the airport and speeds up security control.
Connects to the Sun Group ecosystem
Rather than a traditional airline application, the Sun PhuQuoc Airways app aims towards an “All-in-one” model through deep integration with the Sun Group ecosystem. Currently, guests can purchase identified Sun World directly on the app, helping them with planning for visits to Sun Group’s entertainment complexes. By synchronizing data between flights and entertainment passes, guests can enjoy a continuous “Fly – Play – Stay” experience with faster queue times and easy ticket control.
Smart flight management & visions for the future
The Sun PhuQuoc Airways app allows guests to actively monitor flight status, departure gate, and departure changes in real time, helping them with rearranging their schedules, especially during peak travel periods or turbulent weather.
Aside from that, features like purchasing luggage, special meals, or pre-flight seat selections are all included for guests to easily choose what they need.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways will incorporate more features in the future
Sun PhuQuoc Airways app’s upcoming development will include new features like phone number registration, face recognition-based check-in, in-app ticket changes, and expansion of payment methods; turning it into a true “all-in-one” companion for guests on their trips.
